As Sailor Moon season 2 episode 56 begins, Mamoru is busy trying to organize a charity event to help children in need. Meanwhile, An - the enigmatic girl with a crush on Mamoru - starts putting her own plan into action.
An has been given the task of creating an ice sculpture of Snow White for the upcoming event, and she's determined to use this opportunity to take Mamoru away from Usagi. To do that, she enlists the help of an ice fairy named Rhett Butler (yes, really) who agrees to help her create the most beautiful Snow White sculpture ever seen.
As An and Rhett work on the sculpture, Mamoru can't help but notice how talented and dedicated An is. Usagi, on the other hand, is getting increasingly jealous of the attention An is getting from Mamoru. She starts to worry that An might steal him away from her.
Things come to a head when An's Snow White sculpture is unveiled at the charity event. It's truly a work of art, with intricate details and a stunning resemblance to the animated character. Mamoru is clearly impressed, and An takes the opportunity to steal a kiss from him while he's distracted.
Usagi, who witnesses the whole thing, is heartbroken. She runs away in tears, but is soon intercepted by the other Sailor Scouts who try to console her. Meanwhile, An is feeling guilty about what she's done. She didn't want to hurt Usagi, but she couldn't help her feelings for Mamoru.
As if things weren't complicated enough, the sculpture suddenly comes to life! The evil Queen Beryl has infused it with dark energy, turning it into a monster that starts attacking the charity event attendees. An and the Sailor Scouts team up to try and defeat the monster, but they're having a hard time. Just when it seems like all hope is lost, Mamoru steps in to help. He uses his healing powers to purify the sculpture and turn it back into a harmless block of ice.
The episode ends with Mamoru telling Usagi how he feels about her, and the two of them kissing. An watches from afar, knowing that she needs to move on from her crush on Mamoru. She decides to leave town for a while and focus on her own goals, hoping that someday she can find someone who loves her as much as she loves Mamoru.
Overall, Sailor Moon season 2 episode 56 is a rollercoaster of emotions. It's a story about jealousy, guilt, and forgiveness, with a healthy dose of action thrown in. Fans of the show will love seeing the characters they know and love facing new challenges and developing their relationships. It's a must-watch episode for any Sailor Moon fan.
