Ep 39. The Past Returns

In Sailor Moon season 1 episode 39, titled "The Past Returns," the Senshi continue their fight against the Dark Kingdom, but something strange is happening. Time suddenly stops, and energy is being drawn away from the city. Luna, the talking black cat who acts as a guide for the Sailor Senshi, senses that something is not right and begins to investigate.

However, they don't seem to remember anything from their future lives as Senshi, and are confused and disoriented.

As they try to figure out what has happened to them, they realize that the Dark Kingdom is still a threat, even in the past. The group decides to continue their fight against the Dark Kingdom, even without their memories and powers.

In their search for the source of the energy drain, they are met with a new ally, a mysterious young man with a sleek black cat named Luna. He is aware of their true identities as the Sailor Senshi and provides valuable guidance on their mission.

The past begins to catch up with the Senshi as they encounter familiar faces from their past lives. They discover that they were all connected and intertwined in the past, long before they had become the Sailor Senshi. They experience flashbacks and memories from their past lives and realize the gravity of the situation.

The Dark Kingdom, led by Queen Beryl, have also travelled to the past. They are determined to carry out their evil plans, which they believe will be easier in a time where the Sailor Senshi do not exist. The Senshi must stop them before they can change the course of history and cause irreparable damage to the future.

As the episode progresses, the Senshi come to understand the importance of their roles as guardians of love and justice in the universe. They also learn the power of friendship, as they rely on each other to navigate their way through the dangerous past.
