Ep 9. Friendly Foes

Sailor Moon Sub season 3 episode 9, titled "Friendly Foes", follows the Sailor Scouts as they continue to search for the three talismans that will lead them to the Holy Grail. At the same time, they have to fight against new enemies who are also after the talismans.

The episode starts with the introduction of two new villains, Eudial and Mimete. They are members of the Death Busters, a group of antagonists who aim to find the Holy Grail for their own dark purposes. Eudial is a scientist who uses a special gun to extract the talismans from humans, while Mimete is an actress who can transform into any character she wishes.

Meanwhile, the Sailor Scouts are discussing their next move regarding the talismans. They decide to split up into teams of two to search for them, and Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus are paired together. They use their powers to sense the presence of the talisman and follow it to an abandoned building where they encounter Eudial.

Eudial wants to capture the talisman in order to extract it and complete her mission. She uses her gun to shoot at Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus, but they manage to dodge the attack. The two Scouts transform into their Sailor forms, but Eudial still manages to restrain them with her special weapon.

Just as Eudial is about to extract the talisman, a new Sailor Scout appears on the scene. Her name is Sailor Uranus, and she is searching for the talismans as well. She attacks Eudial, forcing her to release Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus.

Sailor Uranus is different from the other Scouts in that she does not seem to care about their overall mission to find the Holy Grail. She only cares about finding the talismans, and is willing to fight anyone who gets in her way. Despite this, she helps Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus in defeating Eudial, and the three of them retrieve the talisman.

The episode then shifts gears to focus on the character of Hotaru. She is the daughter of Professor Tomoe, the leader of the Death Busters. Hotaru has been sick and bedridden for a while, and her father has been doing everything he can to cure her. However, he seems to be more focused on his research than on his daughter's well-being.

Hotaru is visited by Chibiusa, who is worried about her friend's condition. Hotaru tells Chibiusa that she has a feeling something bad is going to happen, and that she is afraid of her father. Chibiusa promises to do everything she can to help Hotaru.

The episode ends with a confrontation between Sailor Moon and Mimete. Mimete has disguised herself as a model at a photo shoot, and is planning to extract the next talisman from one of the models. However, Sailor Moon arrives on the scene and engages Mimete in battle. The two adversaries are evenly matched, and the episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers wondering what will happen next.
