Sailor Moon S is a Japanese anime TV series produced by Toei Animation that aired on TV Asahi from 1992 to 1997. The show is about a young girl named Usagi Tsukino, who transforms into a magical superhero named Sailor Moon to save the world from evil forces. The show stars Kotono Mitsuishi as Usagi Tsukino and Sailor Moon, Aya Hisakawa as Ami Mizuno and Sailor Mercury, Michie Tomizawa as Rei Hino and Sailor Mars, Emi Shinohara as Makoto Kino and Sailor Jupiter, Rika Fukami as Minako Aino and Sailor Venus, Kae Araki as Chibiusa and Sailor Chibi Moon, Toru Furuya as Mamoru Chiba and Tuxedo Mask, Mika Doi as Queen Serenity and Luna, Keiko Han as Luna (human form) and Queen Beryl, Yasuhiro Takato as Artemis, Kumiko Nishihara as Naru Osaka, Megumi Ogata as Haruka Tenoh and Sailor Uranus, Masako Katsuki as Michiru Kaioh and Sailor Neptune, and Chiyoko Kawashima as Hotaru Tomoe and Sailor Saturn.

The story of Sailor Moon S starts with Usagi and her friends being targeted by a new enemy, the Death Busters, who are trying to obtain the three talismans that will unleash the power of the Holy Grail. In order to stop them, Sailor Moon and her friends must team up with two new Sailor Senshi, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, who possess the talismans. Along the way, they also meet a mysterious girl named Hotaru Tomoe, who has a connection to the Death Busters and holds the key to stopping them.

The overall tone of Sailor Moon S is darker than the previous seasons, as the Death Busters are more sinister than any of the previous villains. The show also explores more mature themes, such as death and sacrifice, which makes it more engaging for older audiences. The animation quality is noticeably improved from the previous seasons, with more detailed character designs and backgrounds.

One of the strengths of Sailor Moon S is its character development. Usagi grows from a naive and careless girl into a more responsible and empathetic leader, while her friends also undergo their own personal growth. The addition of Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune also adds an interesting dynamic to the show, as they have their own agenda and are not always aligned with the other Sailor Senshi.

The show's soundtrack is also memorable, featuring catchy and upbeat opening and ending themes, as well as atmospheric background music. The voice acting is top-notch, with each actor bringing their characters to life in a unique and captivating way.

Overall, Sailor Moon S is a must-watch for fans of the series and a great introduction for newcomers. It is a well-written, well-animated, and well-acted show that combines action, drama, and humor in a compelling package.

Sailor Moon S is a series that ran for 302 seasons (19 episodes) between September 24, 1994 and on TV Asahi
