Tom Delaney, the main character of the show Safe, has been on the search for his missing daughter Jenny for five episodes now. In episode 5, his search intensifies as he begins to unravel more clues about her disappearance. At the same time, he also discovers secrets about his own past that he never knew existed.

However, the party quickly gets out of hand, and Henry is injured in a fight. Tom rushes back from France to attend to his son and berates Chris for throwing the party in the first place.

As the episode progresses, Tom begins to piece together more clues about Jenny's disappearance. He finds out that she had been involved with a boy named Adam, who is now in jail for possession of drugs. Tom meets with Adam's mother, who reveals that Jenny and Adam were planning to run away together. This revelation shakes Tom, and he realizes that his daughter may be in danger.

The episode ends with Tom and Pete discussing their options for finding Jenny. Pete reveals that he has a friend who can help them track down Jenny's phone, which could give them clues as to where she is. Tom agrees to go along with this plan and sets off with Pete to find his daughter, all while coming to terms with the secrets from his past that are slowly being uncovered.
