Sadie Sparks is an animated children's television show that follows the adventures of a spunky little girl named Sadie who discovers that she has magical powers. In season 1 episode 7, titled "A Walk On The Nile Side," Sadie and her best friend Gilbert take a trip to their local museum, where Sadie inadvertently brings a statue of an Egyptian goddess to life.
As usual, Sadie is accompanied by her trusty sidekick, Gilbert, and the two of them are excited to explore the exhibits at the museum. But when they come across a statue of the Egyptian goddess Bastet, Sadie can't resist trying out her magic powers on it. Before she knows it, the statue comes to life, and Sadie and Gilbert find themselves face to face with a real-life goddess.
Bastet is not happy about being brought to life, and she demands to know who is responsible. Sadie is quick to apologize and explains that she didn't mean to do it - her magic powers are still new to her, and she's still learning how to control them. Bastet is skeptical at first, but Sadie's genuine remorse and Gilbert's quick thinking manage to win her over.
Bastet agrees to go on a walk with Sadie and Gilbert through the museum, and the trio set off to explore the exhibits together. Along the way, they encounter all kinds of interesting artifacts, including mummies, hieroglyphics, and even a real-life tomb.
As they explore, Sadie and Gilbert learn a lot about ancient Egypt and the gods and goddesses who were worshiped there. Bastet, in turn, learns a lot about the modern world and how things have changed since she was last awake.
Despite her initial reluctance to be brought to life, Bastet begins to enjoy spending time with Sadie and Gilbert, and the three of them have a lot of fun together. But as their adventure comes to a close, Sadie realizes that she needs to find a way to put Bastet back to sleep before the museum opens in the morning.
With Gilbert's help, Sadie comes up with a plan to reverse her magic and put Bastet back to sleep for another thousand years. But just as they're about to cast the spell, they're caught by the museum curator, who is less than pleased to discover them wandering around after hours.
Thinking quickly, Sadie tells the curator that they're part of a special exhibit on ancient Egypt, and that they were just doing some last-minute preparations. The curator buys her story and leaves them alone, and Sadie and Gilbert are able to complete the spell and put Bastet back to sleep without any further complications.
As they head home from the museum, Sadie reflects on all the things she learned on her adventure with Bastet. She realizes that even though her magic powers can sometimes cause problems, they also give her the opportunity to explore and discover new things - which is always an exciting adventure.
