Ryan's guest takes the lead on the first clue, telling him that the chick is looking for its mother. Ryan looks through a pair of binoculars to find the mother bird's nest. To find the nest, Ryan and his guest go on a scavenger hunt. They find hidden clues and secret messages to lead them to the nest. Once they find the nest, they leave food for the mother bird and her chicks. Ryan is excited to have helped out the baby chick and his mother.
After their successful bird rescue, Ryan and his guest head to the garden to plant some flowers. Spring is the perfect time to plant new flowers and watch them grow. Ryan and his guest learn about the different types of flowers they can plant in the spring and the benefits of doing so. They start planting and realize that it's harder than it looks. But with some hard work and determination, they manage to finish planting the flowers.
Ryan and his guest then head to the arts and crafts room to make some spring-themed decorations. They make a colorful birdhouse out of cardboard and paint it green and yellow like a nest. The episode ends with Ryan and his guest admiring their new decoration.
