In Rugrats season 3 episode 11, Chuckie's Complaint, the gang is at an amusement park having a blast on all the rides and attractions. All except for Chuckie, who seems to be in a sour mood. He's complaining about everything, from the noise to the crowds. His friends try to cheer him up and convince him to have fun, but nothing seems to work.
As they move on to different areas of the park, Chuckie's complaints intensify. He's upset about the lines for rides being too long, the food being too expensive and not tasty enough, and he doesn't want to go on any of the rides. The gang decides to try a different approach and split up to do their own things for a while.
While the others have fun, Chuckie spends some time with his dad and grandpa to take a break. They sit down for a snack and Chuckie continues to gripe about everything. After some gentle prodding from his grandpa, Chuckie admits that he's scared of all the rides and that's why he doesn't want to go on them.
His grandpa tells him a story about when he was younger and scared of the same thing. He overcame his fear by facing it head-on and going on all the rides. Chuckie's dad chimes in that he used to be scared too, but now he loves roller coasters. They both encourage Chuckie to try going on a ride and facing his fear.
Feeling a bit braver, Chuckie decides to try the log flume ride with his grandpa. It's a bit scary at first, but soon they're both laughing and having a great time. When they get off the ride, Chuckie is beaming with joy and feeling brave. He's ready to try more rides and have even more fun.
The gang comes back together and notice the change in Chuckie's attitude. He's no longer complaining and scared, but excited and adventurous. They all continue to explore the park and go on rides together, having a blast.
In the end, Chuckie learns that sometimes it's okay to face our fears and try new things. With the encouragement of loved ones, we can find courage in ourselves we didn't know we had. The episode wraps up with the gang safely back home, exhausted from their day of fun and adventure.
