The show Rugrats follows the adventures of a group of babies and toddlers who experience the world around them from their unique perspective. In season 1 episode 4, the first segment is Circus Angelicus. The babies are eagerly waiting for their parents to take them to the circus. Tommy, Chuckie, and Phil are especially excited to see the "flying lady" in the circus. Angelica overhears their conversation and decides to trick them by pretending to be the "flying lady" herself. She dresses up in a tutu and gets suspended in the air by helium balloons. However, Angelica's plan backfires when the balloons pop and she ends up falling to the ground. The babies are disappointed, but they still have a great time at the circus.
The second segment is The Stork. The babies are curious about where babies come from, and after hearing about the stork, they become determined to catch one. They set up a trap using Tommy's bottle as bait, and surprisingly, they actually catch a large bird. They think they have caught the stork, but in reality, it's just a pelican from the zoo that had escaped. As the babies are trying to figure out what to do with the bird, a frantic zookeeper arrives and takes the pelican back to the zoo. The babies are left wondering where babies really come from.
