Ep 10. Weaning Tommy / Incident In Aisle Seven

In season 1 episode 10 of Rugrats, titled "Weaning Tommy / Incident in Aisle Seven," Tommy's mother, Didi, decides it's time to wean him off of his beloved bottle. Tommy isn't quite ready to give it up though, and along with his friends, the Rugrats, he devises a plan to get his bottle back. The Rugrats manage to outsmart him, but they are then caught by Tommy's parents, who take away the bottle and explain to him that he is growing up and it's time to move on.

Meanwhile, at the grocery store, the Rugrats' parents take them along for the ride. The Rugrats wander off on their own and soon find themselves in aisle seven, where they begin wreaking havoc. Chuckie gets his head stuck in a plastic helmet, which leads to him falling on a pile of watermelons, causing them to roll all over the place. Phil and Lil jump on a trampoline and ricochet into a set of shelves, causing them to topple over, and toys go flying everywhere. The Rugrats also start a barbecue in the aisle, using a bag of charcoal and some hot dogs they find.

The Rugrats' parents eventually catch up to them and try to catch them and put an end to their mischief. In the commotion, they end up getting the shopping cart stuck between the automatic doors, trapping the entire group inside the store. Chaos ensues as the Rugrats try to escape the store, leading to a hilarious chain reaction of mishaps.

In the end, the Rugrats are reunited with their parents and learn valuable lessons. Tommy learns that growing up means letting go of some things, even if they're comforting. The Rugrats also learn the importance of listening to parents and following rules when they're out in public. With its fun and educational themes, "Weaning Tommy / Incident in Aisle Seven" is a classic episode of Rugrats that both children and adults can enjoy.
