They regroup and decide to think outside the box by trying a different approach. This leads them to discover a secret location, and they finally find Mr. Buns sitting on a bench, all alone.
Ruby and her friends are relieved to have found Mr. Buns and bring him back to Boo Boo, who is overjoyed to have his best friend back in his arms again. The episode ends with Ruby and her friends realizing that the true mystery was not about Mr. Buns' whereabouts, but about Boo Boo's feelings. They vow to always support each other, no matter what challenges they may face.
