Rocko's Modern Life season 4 episode 7 is titled "Closet Clown / Seat to Stardom". In the first segment "Closet Clown," Rocko discovers that his neighbor Mr. Bighead has a secret talent as a clown. However, Mr. Bighead is ashamed of his talent and begs Rocko to keep it a secret from everyone. Despite his newfound fame, Mr. Bighead still struggles with accepting his passion for clowning.

The show's host, a ruthless and demanding game master, pits the contestants against each other in a series of increasingly challenging rounds, with the winner earning a spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Rocko, Heffer, and Filburt all compete on the show, but quickly learn that the game is rigged in favor of certain contestants. Despite the odds stacked against them, the trio refuses to give up and fight to prove they have what it takes to be stars.
As always, "Rocko's Modern Life" delivers its signature brand of irreverent humor and social commentary. The first segment addresses the shame and stigma often associated with unconventional hobbies or interests, encouraging viewers to embrace their passions regardless of societal norms. The second segment critiques the cut-throat world of reality television and media manipulation, shedding light on the often-misleading nature of popular shows and the lengths people will go to achieve fame and success. With clever writing, imaginative animation, and a cast of lovable, quirky characters, "Closet Clown / Seat to Stardom" is another standout episode in the beloved animated series.
