Ep 9. Born to Spawn / Uniform Behavior

In Rocko's Modern Life season 2 episode 9, viewers are treated to a double feature with two different stories. The first, Born to Spawn, follows the story of Ed Bighead's wife, Bev, who suddenly goes into labor. The Bigheads are ecstatic at first, but soon realize that their entire lives will be changed once the baby is born. Ed becomes increasingly panicked and stressed, worried about the impact on his career and social life. Meanwhile, Bev focuses on getting everything ready for the new baby, including setting up a nursery and buying all the necessary supplies.

As the days go by, tensions rise between Ed and Bev as they struggle to adjust to their new roles as parents. They realize that caring for a newborn is a lot of work and they are completely unprepared for the challenges that come with it. An exhausted Bev tries to keep up with the demands of motherhood while Ed becomes more and more resentful of the baby's presence and the changes it brings to his life.

The second story, Uniform Behavior, follows Rocko and Heffer as they start their new jobs as telephone operators. Though they're excited at first, they soon find that their job is not what they expected. They end up having to deal with difficult customers who are angry about everything from billing issues to poor reception. The guys are soon overwhelmed by the amount of work they have to do and their boss, Mr. Dupette, is not helping by being a tough taskmaster.

To make matters worse, Rocko and Heffer don't get along with a co-worker named Chuck, who is always looking for shortcuts and trying to shirk his duties. The three end up in a heated argument that eventually leads to a physical altercation. The fight gets them all fired, leaving the three of them to find new jobs and try to patch up their relationships.

Overall, Born to Spawn and Uniform Behavior are two very different stories, but they both deal with the challenges of change and adapting to new circumstances. Whether it's a newborn baby or a new job, the characters in these stories must learn to adjust and find new ways to cope with the challenges that life throws at them.
