It Came From Planet Merv / Netherworld Night is an exciting episode of the second season of the animated show Rocket Power. The show follows the adventures of a group of friends who love extreme sports and live in the beach town of Ocean Shores, California.

In the episode, the gang is excited to participate in a "filming war" against their rivals the Scabs. The objective of the war is to see who can create the best skateboarding video. The winner will get to keep a coveted trophy called the Golden Scab.

Initially, things seem to be going well for the Rocket Power crew. They manage to capture some great footage and are feeling confident about their chances of winning. But then, things take a strange turn.

Otto, one of the main characters, suddenly starts acting weird. He becomes obsessed with a strange object that he finds on the beach. The object is a small, glowing orb that he believes came from outer space. Otto becomes convinced that it is communicating with him and telling him to do things.

Meanwhile, his friends are busy working on their skateboarding video. They are determined to win the Golden Scab and are putting together some fantastic footage. However, they start to notice that Otto is acting very strange. His behavior is erratic, and he seems to be constantly distracted.

As they investigate further, they realize that the object that Otto found is not from outer space at all. It is a toy called a Mervball, which is a popular toy on the East Coast. The Mervball is designed to light up and bounce around, and it has a number of different settings that can be controlled with a remote.

Once they figure out what the object is, they confront Otto about his strange behavior. He admits that he was being silly and that he got carried away with the idea of the Mervball being from outer space. With the mystery solved, the gang goes back to working on their skateboarding video.

However, as they continue to work on the video, they begin to notice that strange things are happening around them. They hear strange noises and see shadows moving in the distance. They start to wonder if there is something spooky going on in the town of Ocean Shores.

Their suspicions are confirmed when they hear about a strange event happening at the local amusement park. It's Netherworld Night, an event where the park is transformed into a spooky haunt. The gang decides to investigate and see if they can figure out what is going on.

As they walk through the park, they are scared by the fake monsters and creepy decorations. However, they soon realize that there is something more sinister going on. They discover that the owner of the amusement park has been using Netherworld Night to cover up a series of robberies. He has been using the spooky event to distract people while his accomplices steal from the park.

The gang decides to take action and stop the thief. They create a plan to catch him in the act and bring him to justice. With their quick thinking and bravery, they manage to catch the thief and return the stolen items to their rightful owners.

In the end, the gang feels proud of themselves for solving the mystery and stopping the thief. They also feel good about the skateboarding video that they put together and are hopeful that they will win the Golden Scab. It was a wild and crazy day in Ocean Shores, but they wouldn't have it any other way.

Overall, It Came From Planet Merv / Netherworld Night is an entertaining and action-packed episode of Rocket Power. It combines elements of science fiction and mystery with the show's usual themes of extreme sports and camaraderie among friends. Fans of the show will enjoy watching the gang solve the mystery and work together to accomplish their goals.
