Robotomy is an animated science-fiction show that first aired on Cartoon Network in 2010. The series is set in a futuristic world where robots and humans coexist and focuses on the lives of two robot high school students, Thrasher (voiced by Patton Oswalt) and Blastus (voiced by John Gemberling), who attend a school for robots called Harry S. Apocalypse High.

Despite being robots, Thrasher and Blastus face many of the same problems as human teenagers: they must navigate relationships, deal with bullies, and study for exams. However, they also have to contend with the added pressures that come with being robots. They must constantly upgrade their systems and compete in battles to maintain their social status at school. These battles are often intense, featuring intense weaponry and destruction that highlight the show's science fiction roots.

Much of the humor in Robotomy comes from the characters' interactions and the absurdity of their world. The show is very self-aware and often pokes fun at common tropes and conventions of both science fiction and high school dramas.

In addition to Thrasher and Blastus, the show features a large cast of supporting characters, both human and robot. There's Megawhatt (voiced by Dana Snyder), a popular robot student who is constantly pushing Thrasher and Blastus to improve their status; Tacklebot (voiced by Michael Sinterniklaas), a jock robot who is always looking for a fight; and Maimy (voiced by Jessie Cantrell), a human student who is often caught up in the robots' drama.

The show also features a number of famous guest stars, including Kate McKinnon, who voices a recurring character named Weenus, the school's guidance counselor.

While Robotomy only aired for one season, it gained a dedicated fan following for its unique brand of humor and its clever take on both science fiction and high school dramas. The show's animation style is also noteworthy, featuring bright colors and sharp, angular character designs that help to convey the futuristic world in which the characters reside.

Overall, Robotomy is a must-watch for anyone who loves science fiction, animated comedies, or high school dramas. With its sharp wit, engaging characters, and high-stakes battles, this show is sure to keep you entertained from start to finish.
