Ep 27. Force of Arms

Despite some initial setbacks and resistance from the Zentraedi, the humans are able to successfully execute the Daedalus Maneuver and destroy the Miriya and its escorts. But the victory is short-lived, as the enemy forces begin to regroup and launch a counterattack of their own.

The SDF-1 is badly damaged in the battle, and the humans realize that they can't win a protracted war. Their only hope is to find a way to escape the Zentraedi fleet and return to Earth. But with the enemy surrounding them on all sides, their chances of escape are slim.

As the episode ends, the SDF-1 is making a desperate run for it, trying to evade the enemy's attempts to capture or destroy them. It's a tense and dramatic race against the clock, as the humans must come up with a plan to outsmart their opponents and make their way back home.
