Robot Chicken season 10 episode 13, titled "Petless M in: Cars are Couches of the Road," continues the traditional hilarity that fans have come to love from the show. This episode is filled with hilarious skits that parody pop culture and make fun of beloved characters and franchises.
The episode starts off with a skit called "X-Men: What if the Digital Age Started in the 90s?" In this skit, we see the X-Men navigating the internet like it's 1995, complete with dial-up modems and Netscape Navigator. The X-Men's mission is to find and destroy the source of all the annoying pop-up ads that have been plaguing the internet. They soon discover that the source of these ads is none other than Professor X, who has built a virtual world as an escape from his own physical limitations.
The next skit, "Lion-O Gets Adopted," features everyone's favorite Thundercats hero finally finding a loving home after being orphaned as a cub. However, his new family turns out to be a pack of domestic house cats who mock his sword-wielding and warrior ways.
In "The True Monster Under Brian's Bed," the Family Guy dog discovers that the monster under his bed is actually himself from a parallel universe. Things get awkward when they both try to climb into bed together.
The skit "Animorphs: A Retrospective" parodies the popular '90s book series and TV show about teenagers who can transform into animals to fight aliens. In this retelling, the animorphs discover that they can also transform into household items, leading them to wage a battle against kitchen appliances.
Finally, in "Star Wars: Rey's Parents," we find out what really happened to Rey's parents before they abandoned her on Jakku. The skit is a hilarious parody that pokes fun at some of the more ridiculous fan theories about the Star Wars saga.
Throughout the episode, there are also several other hilarious skits that parody everything from The Avengers to Game of Thrones. As usual, Robot Chicken does not disappoint in its absurd and irreverent take on pop culture. Fans will be left laughing and wanting more after watching "Petless M in: Cars are Couches of the Road".
