Rob & Big follows the lives of professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and his best friend Christopher "Big Black" Boykin as they navigate their daily activities and ridiculous adventures in their Los Angeles home. In season 1 episode 7, entitled "Bobby Light," the duo takes on creating a rap persona for their friend and neighbor Bobby Light.
Rob and Big are lounging in their backyard, discussing their current boredom. Bobby Light arrives, flaunting his new grill (a set of expensive teeth), and tells them he wants to become a rapper. The two are amused and decide to help him out. They come up with the name "Bobby Light" and start developing a ridiculous rapper persona for him.
Rob creates a beat for Bobby while Big helps him work on his image. They take him shopping to buy flashy clothes and sunglasses and then send him to a dance studio where he learns some choreography. Bobby also begins to work on his rap skills, practicing and recording in Rob's home studio.
As Bobby prepares for his first performance as Bobby Light, Rob and Big are nervous but excited. They help him rehearse and make some final tweaks to his image before sending him off to the club.
At the club, Bobby performs his rap, and surprisingly, the crowd loves it. Rob and Big watch from the crowd, impressed by their creation. When Bobby finishes his set, they run backstage to congratulate him, and Rob even gifts Bobby one of his prized possessions, his diamond encrusted skateboard.
The episode ends with Bobby Light thanking Rob and Big for all their help, and the three of them walking off into the night, ready for their next adventure.
Overall, episode 7 of Rob & Big season 1 is a hilarious and entertaining episode that showcases the duo's creativity and absurdity. From Bobby's ridiculous rap persona to the over-the-top clothes and dance moves, this episode is full of laughs and ridiculousness.
