Roadkill is back with a bang with their season 3, and episode 1 is called Off Road Lowrider. This American automotive show hosted by David Freiburger and Steve Dulcich is known for their love for classic cars and their amazing mechanics skills. They are back with their third season with more surprises, more challenges, and more adventure for car lovers.
In this episode, the crew takes on the challenge of building a custom off-road lowrider for the Ultimate Adventure. The team sets out to find an old car and turns it into an off-road machine that can handle extreme terrain. They come across an old 1964 Chevrolet Impala station wagon, which they purchase for only $1,500. Although it is not in great condition, the boys are confident that they can turn it into a badass off-road vehicle.
The car is taken back to their workshop where they begin the rebuilding process. The first step is to add a lift kit to the car and change the suspension. The team uses the Chevy 4x4 suspension that they found at a junkyard and modifies it to fit the Impala. The suspension system is upgraded with new shocks, leaf springs, and control arms to give the car better clearance and stability for off-road adventures.
The next step is to build a roll cage to protect the passengers in case of a rollover. The team welds the roll cage into the car's frame and covers it with padding for added safety. They also add some custom aluminum panels to the interior to give it a sleek off-road look.
The team then installs a new engine into the car, a 383 stroker motor that will provide plenty of power for the off-road journey. They also install a brand new transmission and transfer case to make sure the car has the power and torque it needs to handle even the toughest terrain.
The next stage of the build is to design and fabricate the bodywork. The team cuts and welds custom fender flares to fit the massive off-road tires that they will be using. They also add a custom front bumper and grille guard to protect the car's radiator and add a tough off-road look to the front of the car.
Finally, the team paints the car bright yellow, giving it a sleek and modern look, while also being highly visible in off-road situations. They then add some custom graphics to the sides of the car to complete the look.
Once the car is complete, the team takes it out for a test drive on some local trails to see how it performs. The car handles the terrain like a champ, and the team is excited to take it on the Ultimate Adventure.
Roadkill's Off Road Lowrider episode is a must-watch for any car enthusiast who loves to see old cars come to life. The team's creativity, ingenuity and mechanical expertise are something to be admired as they bring their vision to reality. This episode is a testament to their skills and passion for classic cars and off-road adventures. Tune in to watch the excitement unfold and see this incredible machine in action.
