Ep 11. Sex Wax on the Beach

  • March 17, 1997

In Road Rules season 3 episode 11, titled "Sex Wax on the Beach," the six remaining cast members head to the sunny beaches of Hawaii for their next challenge. The episode kicks off with the group waking up early to hit the waves for some surfing lessons with local pro surfers. Each cast member is given a different surfboard and tasked with riding a wave to the beach.

Later that day, the group takes on a new challenge – creating their own surf wax. They are split into pairs and given different ingredients to use to create their wax. One team uses strawberries in their wax, while another team uses honey. They then have to test their surf wax on their own boards to see which wax performs the best in the waves.

The following day, the cast heads out on a boat to a secluded beach where they set up camp for the night. As they settle in, they receive a new challenge – they must each write a love letter to an ex-partner and then burn it on the beach as a way to let go of any past baggage.

As the night goes on, tensions rise between two cast members, causing a rift in the group. The next challenge is a beach volleyball game, but the tension between the two cast members makes for a heated match. Eventually, the group is able to come together and enjoy the rest of their time on the beach before heading back to the road for their next adventure.

Overall, "Sex Wax on the Beach" is an episode that combines physical challenges and emotional vulnerability as the cast members are pushed out of their comfort zones – whether it's trying to create the perfect surf wax or letting go of past relationships. The stunning backdrop of Hawaii's beaches adds to the overall appeal of the episode, making it a must-watch for fans of the show.
