Ep 11. Fear Never Knocks

In R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour season 1 episode 11 titled "Fear Never Knocks," we follow the story of a young girl named Emily who has recently moved into a new house with her family. Despite being warned by her neighbor Mr. Teller to stay away from the house next door, Emily decides to explore it and discovers a mysterious box hidden in the basement.

Excited to see what's inside, Emily opens the box and finds a doll that looks eerily similar to her. She soon realizes that the doll has the ability to mimic her every move, and even starts to feel like it's watching her every move, leading her to feel uneasy and anxious.

She becomes convinced that the doll is haunted and is the cause of everything happening around her.

Desperate to get rid of the doll, Emily turns to Mr. Teller for help. He reveals to her that the previous owner of the house, a girl named Sarah, also had a doll that looked like her and became obsessed with it, leading to her tragic death.

Emily realizes that she needs to confront her fear of the doll and face it head-on in order to overcome it. She confronts the doll and eventually destroys it, finally bringing an end to the strange occurrences in her house.

The episode explores the idea of facing our fears and overcoming them, as well as the consequences that come with becoming obsessed with something. It also serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of curiosity and exploring things we know we shouldn't.
