Moving further south, Rick visits the city of Split, where he explores the impressive Diocletian's Palace, built for the Roman Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century. He also learns about the city's important role in Croatian history.
Finally, Rick ends his journey in the breathtaking city of Dubrovnik, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic." He takes a walk along the city's famous walls and learns about the city's role in the maritime trade of the Mediterranean. He also visits a local restaurant to sample some of the region's delicious cuisine.
