In season four episode five of Reno 911!, titled "Spanish Mike Comes Back," we see the return of a beloved character from previous episodes. Spanish Mike, a flamboyant and outspoken man with a love for dance and alcohol, is back in town and causing chaos once again.
The episode opens with Deputy Garcia discovering Spanish Mike passed out in the back of his car. Garcia takes him back to the station to sober up, but Spanish Mike insists on leaving and getting back to his partying ways. Meanwhile, the other deputies are busy handling various cases around Reno, including a man who glued his hands to a vending machine, a group of nudists causing a disturbance, and a man who thinks he's a superhero.
As the day wears on, Spanish Mike continues to cause trouble, getting into fights and even stealing a police cruiser. The deputies are eventually able to apprehend him and bring him back to the station, where they try to reason with him and convince him to turn his life around. However, Spanish Mike resists their efforts and continues to act out.
Throughout the episode, we also get glimpses into the personal lives of the deputies. Deputy Jones is dealing with the aftermath of a recent divorce, while Deputy Williams is struggling with her feelings for Garcia. Meanwhile, Sheriff Department employees Cheresa Kimball and Craig Pullin have a hilarious subplot where they are convinced that they are being pranked by their coworkers.
Overall, "Spanish Mike Comes Back" is a hilarious and chaotic episode that fans of Reno 911! are sure to enjoy. The mix of over-the-top characters, ridiculous plotlines, and witty banter between the deputies makes for a show that never fails to entertain.
