The primary antagonist of the series is a shady businessman named Tomás. Tomás is hell-bent on exploiting the family for his own personal gain, and he'll do whatever it takes to make it happen. He attempts to get the family to sign a sponsorship agreement to endorse his products, but Juan, who knows a thing or two about shady people, is reluctant to sign the paperwork.
