Mordecai and Rigby, the two main characters of Regular Show are back with their wacky adventures in season 8. The sixth episode of this season, titled "I Like You Hi" revolves around their quest to impress Margaret and Eileen, the love interests of Mordecai and Rigby respectively.

In the beginning of the episode, Mordecai and Rigby are seen hanging out in the park when they suddenly spot Margaret and Eileen. Trying to impress them, they decide to put on a show which leads to a hilarious mishap. In an effort to fix the damage they have caused, they accidentally come across the "Likeerator," a mysterious device that is capable of amplifying positive emotions.

Excited at the prospect of impressing the girls, Mordecai and Rigby decide to use the device to generate likes and positive emotions. But, things quickly spiral out of control as they become addicted to the rush of positive feedback and likes, causing them to lose sight of the original plan and become completely consumed by the device. As their obsession with likes grows, they begin to neglect their friends, work and responsibilities leading to a chaotic and hilarious chain of events.

The episode touches upon the theme of instant gratification and the danger of trading genuine connection for short-term superficial validation. As Mordecai and Rigby become more and more obsessed with the device, they begin to ignore the people around them and the genuine relationships they have formed. It's only when they hit rock bottom that they realize the value of real connection and the importance of genuine interaction.

The humor in the episode is typical of Regular Show, blending absurdity with pop culture references. The dialogue is witty and the characters, especially Mordecai and Rigby, are well-crafted and endearing. The voice actors, J.G. Quintel and William Salyers, do a great job of bringing the characters to life and delivering the humor in an effective manner.

The animation is top-notch, as expected from the show, with detailed and vividly colored backgrounds that enhance the overall experience of watching the episode. The music is also noteworthy, with a catchy soundtrack that complements the fast-paced action on screen.

Overall, "I Like You Hi" is a hilarious and entertaining episode of Regular Show that combines humor, insight, and social commentary. The characters and setting are well-established, and the plot is engaging and relatable. The show has a loyal fan following and this episode is sure to please both old and new fans alike. It's a must-watch for anyone looking for a good laugh and some heartfelt moments.
