In the episode "Muscle Mentor" of Regular Show's third season, Mordecai and Rigby set out on a quest to become studlier. Feeling self-conscious about their physiques, the duo decides to seek out a muscle mentor who can teach them how to bulk up and become more attractive to the ladies.
After some searching, they stumble upon "The Urn," an old-timer who claims to be a legendary muscleman from the glory days of bodybuilding. Skeptical but hopeful, Mordecai and Rigby follow the Urn's strict training regimen, which includes grueling exercises, absurdly high-protein diets, and cold-water dips.
Despite the intense training, Mordecai and Rigby struggle to see results, much to their frustration. Their confidence takes a further hit when they attend a bodybuilding competition, only to be outshined by the impressive physiques of the other contestants.
However, all hope is not lost. The Urn reveals that his secret to success was not actually his training routine, but a simple belief in himself. Inspired by the old-timer's words, Mordecai and Rigby find the confidence they need to embrace their current bodies and find pride in their unique strengths.
In the end, while they may not have gained the "perfect" bodies they were after, Mordecai and Rigby learn a valuable lesson about self-acceptance and the importance of believing in oneself. And who knows? Maybe they'll still catch the eye of a pretty girl or two.
