Ep 23. First Day

Mordecai and Rigby are back at it again in season 2 episode 23 of Regular Show, titled "First Day." In this episode, the two best friends must man up and tackle their new job at a park café as new employees on the first day. Mordecai is convinced that he's going to have an awesome first day, but Rigby is already feeling anxious and nervous about their new job.

Eventually, Benson catches Rigby putting his feet up on the counter and chewing his nails instead of working. Benson fires Rigby on the spot, leaving him devastated.

Mordecai tries to reason with Benson, explaining that it was only Rigby's first day and that he deserves another chance. Benson agrees to give Rigby another chance, but only if he can prove that he's capable of doing the job. Rigby has to clean up the entire café by himself, and then serve Benson and a group of his friends.

As Rigby works tirelessly to clean up and make the best coffee he can, Mordecai helps out by giving him advice and acting as his personal cheerleader. Finally, Rigby finishes cleaning up and serves Benson and his friends their drinks. Benson is impressed by Rigby's hard work and dedication, and decides to keep him on as an employee.

The episode ends with Mordecai and Rigby feeling accomplished and happy with their new jobs. They may have had a rough start, but they're determined to make the most of it and become the best café employees they can be.
