Mordecai and Rigby are back with yet another hilariously wild adventure in the Local News Legend episode of Regular Show season 10. From the imagination of J.G. Quintel, this episode is a part of the final season of the show.

The episode opens with Mordecai and Rigby relaxing in the park, wasting the day away on mindless activities. But their attention soon gets drawn towards an old man who is delivering newspapers. They soon learn that he is Garrett Bobby Ferguson, a local news legend and the founder of Eye-Witness News, a local network that reported on bizarre happenings in the town.

Rigby is desperate to get Garrett's autograph, but Mordecai seems hesitant, assuming he might turn violent or that Rigby's expectations might flop. But Rigby begs Mordecai to give him a chance, and so the two of them pay Garrett a visit at his home. There, they find out that Garrett is not what he seemed. He is 60 years old, married, and has a son who is in college, completely different from the image that Rigby had imagined.

Meanwhile, in the park, Benson is trying to find out why his car smells so bad. He realizes that it is not his car that smells, but something in the parking garage, and decides to investigate. Benson, who always goes into authority mode, sets off with high hopes, but things don't go as planned when he realizes that the basement of the garage is part of a sinister plan that could change the town forever. Benson may have discovered something huge.

While Benson's storyline is intriguing, it is the story of Mordecai, Rigby, and Garrett that propels the episode forward. The three of them share an amusingly chaotic adventure as they drive through the night, breaking into a government lab and turning into birds. And as their night progresses, they realize that Garrett had a dark motive behind all his eccentric behavior, which they eventually must face.

The animation style is an unshakeable part of the show's charm, and Local News Legend delivers a barrage of colorful visuals. The episode features hand-drawn cartoons, which add a lot of uniqueness, and the blend of tough humor with emotional stories gives the episode an engaging balance of light and heavy.

Overall, the episode has a lot of strengths. The story is solid, the animation is unparalleled, and there are plenty of laughs to be had. The character interaction is refreshingly strong, and the concept of a local news legend is executed with a lot of wit and humor. Fans of the show will not be disappointed by this episode, as it delivers on everything that's been great about the series.

The pacing of this episode is just perfect. While some other episodes can sometimes feel slow and meandering, Local News Legend never drags. Instead, it moves at a breakneck pace, with one crazy event following right after the other. Even though the premise is different from that of the show's usual episodes, this is still very much Regular Show.

Overall, Local News Legend is a fantastic installment in the series. It has the humor, heart, and creativity that fans have come to expect from Regular Show, and the story is a great exploration of what it means to be a local legend. Whether you are a long-time viewer of the show or have only just heard of it, this episode is a great example of the show's many strengths: it's entertaining, well-crafted, and a joy to watch.
