David and Skye's relationship is at a turning point as they're both deciding whether or not to take the next step. Meanwhile, Wheeler tries to become a “man of the world” at a party held by Doug, an older businessman he’s met at the club. However, things don't go as planned when Wheeler wakes up the next day to find that he's swapped bodies with Doug himself! As the two try and navigate their strange new lives, they quickly discover that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

At the same time, Getty tries to take advantage of David's newfound confidence by getting him to work alongside him at his car dealership, while mistaking him for another employee. As they work together to make some sales, Getty starts to see David's untapped potential- which is all the more reason to keep him under his wing. Meanwhile, Judy tries to rekindle her romance with "freelance taxpayer" Barry, with mixed results.

Body Swap is a particularly zany episode in the first season with lots of laughs and hijinks. It's a fun watch for anyone in the mood for lighthearted, goofy comedy. While there's definitely an element of wish fulfillment in the episode (who hasn't wanted to trade places with someone and experience their life for a day or two?), it all feels grounded in the show's world. The characters all feel like real people with real problems, even when they're running around in someone else's body.

The central storyline of the episode, with Wheeler and Doug trading places, may not be the most original concept, but it's executed well. Craig Roberts and Richard Kind have great comedic chemistry and it's fun to see them imitate each other's mannerisms and speech patterns. The switch also leads to some genuinely funny moments, like when Doug-as-Wheeler tries to use his newfound youth to pick up a much younger woman. It's a bit silly, but it's hard not to laugh at the absurdity of it all.

The subplot with Getty and David's work relationship is also well-done. It's nice to see David finally start to assert himself and start taking control of his life (even if it's only because he's been mistaken for someone else). John Benjamin Hickey's performance as Getty is consistently entertaining, and he has great chemistry with Gage Golightly as David. The two have a nice mentor-mentee dynamic that's simultaneously sweet and amusing.

Overall, Body Swap is a fun, lighthearted episode that's sure to put a smile on your face. While it's not the most groundbreaking TV you'll ever watch, it's well-crafted and entertaining. Whether you're a fan of the show or just looking for a good laugh, you won't regret giving this episode a try.
