Ray is a Netflix anthology series consisting of four different stories, each inspired by the works of celebrated Indian filmmaker Satyajit Ray. The show, which premiered on June 25, 2021, boasts a talented cast including Bishakha Thapa, Manoj Bajpayee, Ali Fazal and others.

The first story, "Forget Me Not," follows a successful businessman named Ipsit played by Ali Fazal who wakes up one day with no memory of his past. As he starts to uncover the truth behind his amnesia, he realizes that his life is not what it seems. Fazal's stellar acting combined with the suspenseful plot makes for an interesting start to the series.

The second story, "Bahrupiya," stars Kay Kay Menon as a master of disguise named Indrashish. The story revolves around his transformation into a number of personas, each with their own unique quirks, as he struggles to find his own identity. The story is equal parts eerie and comedic, and Kay Kay Menon's impeccable acting shines through.

The third story, "Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa," features Manoj Bajpayee as Musafir Ali, a ghazal singer who meets a mysterious woman on a train journey from Mumbai to Delhi. With an impressive soundtrack and excellent acting from Bajpayee, the story is a beautifully crafted love letter to nostalgia and longing.

The final story, "Spotlight," stars Harshvardhan Kapoor as a struggling actor named Vikram. The story follows his desperate attempts to secure a role in a film, which ultimately leads him to question his own values and beliefs. Kapoor delivers a commendable performance, and the underlying themes of the story make it a thought-provoking addition to the series.

Overall, Ray is a well-made anthology series that showcases the many talents of some of India's most celebrated actors. With a mix of suspense, drama, and humor, each story is unique in its own way, yet all share the underlying thread of exploring the complexities of human nature. Fans of Satyajit Ray's films are sure to appreciate the homage paid to the legendary filmmaker, while newcomers to his work will find plenty to enjoy in this series.
