In this episode of Rastamouse, titled "Double Crossin' Diva," the Easy Crew is tasked with helping their friend Missy Dizzy after she suspects that her music producer, Rufus McScruff, has been taking advantage of her. Missy Dizzy has been singing at various venues in Mouseland and caught the attention of Rufus, who offers to produce her music and help make her famous.
However, Missy Dizzy's success is short-lived as she soon realizes that Rufus has been stealing her royalties and not giving her the credit she deserves for her hard work. Missy Dizzy turns to the Easy Crew for help, and they quickly jump into action. The crew devises a plan to catch Rufus in the act so he can face the consequences of his actions and Missy Dizzy can receive the recognition she deserves.
As they investigate Rufus, the Easy Crew discovers that he is working with a notorious criminal named Perfect Peter who is known for his double-crossing ways. Perfect Peter has been helping Rufus keep Missy Dizzy's music from becoming too popular so they can continue stealing her royalties.
The Easy Crew uses their quick thinking and problem-solving skills to come up with a plan to catch Perfect Peter and Rufus in the act. Their plan involves a fake music gig in which Missy Dizzy will perform her hit song, "Mousetown Funk," and Perfect Peter and Rufus will be invited to attend.
As expected, Perfect Peter and Rufus attend the gig, but the Easy Crew has rigged the stage with microphones that record their conversation. Perfect Peter and Rufus unknowingly give away their entire plan, and with the evidence in hand, the Easy Crew takes them down.
In the end, Missy Dizzy receives the credit and royalties she deserves, and Rufus and Perfect Peter are brought to justice. The Easy Crew reminds everyone that crime doesn't pay and that hard work and honesty are always the best policy.
