In episode 2 of season 1, titled Monarch Migration/That Sinking Feeling, the Rainbow Rangers embark on two exciting missions.

The Rangers quickly brainstorm and use their unique abilities to rescue the baby whale. Rosie, the engineer of the group, uses her knowledge of machines to create a makeshift ramp that helps the baby whale swim out of the channel. Meanwhile, Kalia, the oceanography expert, communicates with the mother whale and keeps her calm. In the end, the baby whale is returned to his mother, and the Rangers are hailed as heroes.
Throughout the episodes, the Rangers must navigate challenges and use their unique abilities to solve problems. The Rangers' different skills and talents complement each other, and they must use teamwork to succeed in their missions. Together, they learn important lessons about the environment, the animals they help, and each other.
