Quit Your Day Job is a reality TV show aired on Oxygen in 2016. The show focused on aspiring entrepreneurs that bring their innovative ideas to investors with the hope of turning them into a successful business. The investors or mentors including Randi Zuckerberg, Ido Leffler, and Lauren Maillian are investors who have made it big, they encouraged and help hopeful entrepreneurs to stop their day jobs and venture into their business ideas.

The series followed a competition format where the entrepreneurs pitched their business ideas to the three mentors before proceeding to the final stage where they would pitch their ideas to a panel of investors. The winning team receives funding and mentorship to help them turn their ideas into a successful business venture.

Randi Zuckerberg, sister to the famous creator of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, started her own media based company, Zuckerberg Media. In the show, Randi using her experience in working with Facebook played a mentor to the entrepreneurs in the show, sharing her insights and vision for their ideas.

Ido Leffler, a serial entrepreneur and CEO of companies like Yoobi and Yes To, has made a name from his innovative products and marketing strategies. On Quit Your Day Job, he helps the entrepreneurs identify their target market and come up with ways of making their ideas appeal to their target audience.

Lauren Maillian is another successful entrepreneur who became a millionaire through her company, LMB group. She offered the entrepreneurs advice on how to raise capital, put together a business plan, and market their products effectively.

Each mentor would select entrepreneurs who stood out from the rest, these were the entrepreneurs whose business ideas resonated with them, whose passion and commitment to their ideas are tangible and whose charisma and confidence stood out. The selected entrepreneurs were taken to the next round where they were given the opportunity to pitch to the investors.

The final stage of the show featured a "crowdfunding" event, wherein the entrepreneurs were given a chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of investors who would then decide to invest in their business ideas. Cohosted by a celebrity guest, the audience would then pledge funds to support the contestant's idea. The entrepreneur with the most investments won.

Through this show, viewers get to see how startups are born and learn how to turn their business ideas into a reality. The contestants, through the show, learned about raising capital, forming partnerships, and marketing strategies.
