Dr. Quincy is back again in season 5 of the hit medical drama, Quincy, M.E. In the eighth episode, titled "Nowhere to Run," Quincy finds himself investigating a case that hits close to home.

The episode begins with a jogger who discovers a young girl's body in the bushes. This prompts Quincy to dig deeper and find out what happened to her. As he investigates, he discovers that the girl was a runaway from a nearby girls' home.

Quincy's investigation takes him to the girls' home where he uncovers a multitude of problems, including corrupt staff members who exploit the girls, and a lack of resources to properly care for them. Quincy learns that many of the girls are runaways and the staff at the home do nothing to help them. Instead, they use them for their own personal gain.

While trying to get to the bottom of the case, Quincy also has to deal with personal issues. He is dealing with the aftermath of his friend's suicide, which has left him shaken and contemplating his own life choices. He also has to deal with his frustration with the system and the lack of resources to help those in need.

Meanwhile, the case becomes even more complicated when a jaded cop who doesn't believe in the girls' home becomes involved. He works against Quincy, trying to discredit him and his investigation. Quincy has to find a way to work around the cop and prove what happened to the runaway girl.

As Quincy delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a web of deceit and lies. He discovers that her death was not an accident, but a result of the corrupt staff at the girls' home trying to silence her. Quincy becomes determined to get justice for the young girl and bring the corrupt staff to justice.

As the episode comes to a close, Quincy is left to contemplate the state of the system and the lack of resources for runaways and troubled youth. He is left feeling frustrated and powerless, but also motivated to keep fighting for justice.

Overall, "Nowhere to Run" is a gripping and emotional episode that showcases Quincy at his best. The episode tackles tough social issues and leaves viewers with plenty of food for thought.
