In Queen Sugar Season 3 Episode 12, titled "The Horizon Leans Forward," tensions between the Bordelon siblings continue to escalate. With farm issues causing frustration between Nova, Ralph Angel, and Charley, they each seek out their own solutions while still trying to maintain a united front for the sake of their late father's legacy.
Charley is still dealing with the aftermath of her recent scandal and her fight for justice for the farmers against the Landry family. She faces a new challenge when a group of farmers reach out to her, inviting her to speak at a rally in Washington D.C. to address issues affecting the black farming community. Amidst all of this, she also finally chooses to confront her past with Remy.
Meanwhile, Ralph Angel's new partnership with Darla has its own set of complications. As they try to figure out how to balance their separate lives with their co-parenting duties, a devastating revelation threatens to tear them apart.
Nova, on the other hand, is struggling with her own demons as she tries to make amends for the harm she caused in her article about the local police department. She finds herself drawn to a new love interest but is hesitant to pursue anything serious, still reeling from her previous relationship.
As all three siblings navigate their own personal and professional challenges, they must learn to lean on each other and find a way to come together as a family, despite their differences.
