Ep 19. Leaping in Without a Net - November 18, 1958

Sam leaps into the body of high wire artist Kid Cody in 1958. As he struggles to learn the ropes in order to perform the dangerous stunt that will allow him to leap, he must also deal with tensions within the circus he has joined, including a romantic triangle involving his inamorata and the jealous ringmaster, played by Scott Bakula in an uncredited role. In addition to learning the art of high-wire walking, Sam must also contend with matters of the heart and work to resolve conflicts within the circus if he hopes to keep his host body from falling to his death. Along the way, he experiences the thrill of performing in front of an audience, the fear of falling from great heights, and the joy of falling in love. Ultimately, he must decide whether to stay with the circus or leap into his next adventure.
