Ep 13. Another Mother - September 30, 1981

When Sam leaps into the body of a young mentally challenged man named Joey, he finds himself in a difficult situation. Joey's mother has just passed away and his father, a widower named Frank, is struggling to care for him and his other son, Brian. Sam quickly realizes that Joey's disability is not as severe as everyone assumes and that he is capable of doing much more than they give him credit for. However, he must confront Frank's prejudices and help him see his son in a new light. Meanwhile, he also tries to prevent Brian from making a life-changing mistake. As Sam navigates his way through the challenges of being a caregiver for a mentally challenged individual and trying to bring about positive change in Joeys' family, he discovers unexpected connections and relationships between the members of the family. With each new leap, Sam continues to help people and change lives for the better.
