Follow the Puffin / Spot the Puffin / The Sad Whale: In season 1 episode 9 of Puffin Rock, Oona, and Baba, a brother and sister duo join their puffin friends on a grand adventure. Baba and Oona discuss how they might help the whale and decide to ask their friend, Mossy the Shrew, for assistance. Mossy suggests that they recruit the other animals to help the whale.

The group rallies all the seabirds and animals on the island to help the poor whale. Together they create a makeshift dam to return the whale to the sea. It’s no mean feat, as the whale is vast and heavy. However, their tireless effort eventually pays off, and the whale returns safely to its natural habitat.

In the process of saving the whale, the trio learns about the delicate balance of life on Puffin Rock and the importance of protecting their environment. They learn that it is upon all of them, both creatures big and small, to care for their ecosystem, for without it they cannot survive.
