Ep 4. Pond Life / Bird Detective / Bernie's Shell

Bernie the hermit crab is feeling lonely and decides to search for a new shell to live in. In "Pond Life", Oona the puffin takes her baby brother Baba on a tour of a nearby pond. Along the way, they meet several new creatures and learn about their habits.
In "Bird Detective", Oona and Baba come across a mysterious feather and set out to solve the mystery of which bird it belongs to. They interview several feathered friends and eventually solve the case with the help of their friend Mossy the moss.
Back with Bernie, he has found a beautiful new shell but discovers that it belongs to another hermit crab named Mia. Torn between his desire for a new home and not wanting to take someone else's, Bernie learns an important lesson about respecting others' belongings and finding his own special shell.
As always, the animation in Puffin Rock is top-notch and the characters are endearing. Young viewers will delight in the new creatures they meet in "Pond Life" and the sense of adventure in "Bird Detective". And the moral lesson in "Bernie's Shell" is a great reminder for kids about the value of sharing and respecting each other's property.
