The Fast Day: In this episode, the young puffin, Oona, and her little brother, Baba, prepare for a very special day on the island of Puffin Rock. The Fast Day is a common event where the birds of the island refrain from flying and fishing for food for an entire day. Oona is excited to participate and support the tradition, but Baba is too young to understand why they must abstain from their usual activities. As they explore the island, they find themselves in situations that challenge their resolve to fast. Will they be able to successfully complete the Fast Day?
Baba's Friend: Baba is excited to show his new friend, a starling named Shona, all the wonders of Puffin Rock. However, he quickly learns that Shona is not too impressed with the simple pleasures of the island. She seems more interested in seeking out excitement and adventure. Meanwhile, Oona and Mossy are on a mission to help a lost bird find its way back home. As the two stories intersect, Baba begins to understand that friendships come in all shapes and sizes and that sometimes you have to step outside your comfort zone to connect with others.
Flying High: It's a beautiful day on Puffin Rock, and Oona is eager to fly high in the sky with her puffin family. However, she has a fear of heights that she must overcome. With the help of her family and friends, Oona discovers different techniques for facing her fear and gains the courage to soar high above the clouds. Along the way, they encounter a flock of geese who are having trouble flying and work together to help them return to the air. This episode highlights the importance of perseverance and teamwork while also emphasizing the beauty of nature and the joy of discovering new experiences.
