Princess Ja-Myung Go is a Korean historical drama that revolves around Princess Ja-Myung, who is believed to be the key to unite the three warring kingdoms: Gorguryeo, Buyeo, and Nangnang. The show is set in ancient Korea, and the first episode introduces us to the main characters and the central theme of the series.

The first episode opens with a young Ja-Myung playing outside with her sister Ra-Hee. They playfully argue over who is going to be the princess, but their mother, Queen Won-Hwa, intervenes and gives the title to Ja-Myung. As the girls grow up, it becomes apparent that Ja-Myung is not an ordinary princess. She has a mysterious birthmark on her neck, which is said to be a sign of her true fate.

Meanwhile, the three kingdoms are in turmoil, and the tension between them is escalating. King Gyumwa of Gorguryeo, King Daeso of Buyeo, and Queen Haejoo of Nangnang each plot to gain more power and territory. They all have their reasons to believe that Princess Ja-Myung can help them achieve their goals, and they all want her on their side.

Ja-Myung is unaware of her importance and spends her life oblivious to the political drama surrounding her. She is a happy-go-lucky princess who loves spending time with her sister and her friends. Her mother is protective of her and does not disclose the truth about her birthmark, fearing that it might put her in danger.

The first episode also introduces us to two male leads – Prince Hodong and Prince Haemyung. Prince Hodong is the second son of King Gyumwa of Gorguryeo, and Prince Haemyung is the second son of King Daeso of Buyeo. They are both in love with Princess Ja-Myung but have different motives for pursuing her. Prince Hodong genuinely cares for the princess and wants to protect her, while Prince Haemyung sees her as a tool to gain power.

As the episode progresses, we see the political tensions between the three kingdoms escalate. King Gyumwa sends his army to attack Buyeo, and King Daeso vows revenge. Queen Haejoo of Nangnang wants to mediate between the two kingdoms but is powerless to stop the war. Prince Hodong and Prince Haemyung are both sent to the battlefield, and the fate of the entire region rests on their shoulders.

Meanwhile, Princess Ja-Myung is kidnapped by an unknown assailant. Her mother and Ra-Hee suspect that it might be one of the kingdoms trying to use her for their gain. Prince Hodong, who is on a mission to rescue her, stumbles upon the kidnappers' hideout and fights his way through the guards to get to the princess. He finds her unharmed, and they escape together.

The episode ends with a cliffhanger as we see Prince Haemyung approaching Prince Hodong from behind with his sword drawn. The tension between the two is palpable, and it sets the stage for a rivalry that will drive the plot forward.

In conclusion, the first episode of Princess Ja-Myung Go sets the stage for a grand historical drama filled with political intrigue, romance, and action. The characters are well-developed, and the plot is engaging from the get-go. The show promises to be an exciting and emotional journey that will keep the viewers hooked until the very end.
