Prince of Peoria is a Netflix Original comedy-drama series that follows the story of Emil, a 13-year-old prince from a fictional country in Europe, who visits the United States and winds up staying with a middle-class family in Peoria, Illinois. Teddy auditions for the role of Danny Zuko, the male lead in the play, but his dreams are shattered when he is cast as a minor character. Brianna, on the other hand, struggles to come up with a unique and impressive design for the mural.

The episode also features Emil's father, King Ray, who communicates with Emil through video chat. King Ray is shown to be overprotective of his son, and he worries about him being in the United States. Emil, on the other hand, wants to be independent and do things on his own. This causes some tension between them, but they eventually come to a resolution.

As the episode progresses, Emil learns the importance of taking an interest in science, and he also helps Teddy by providing him with some useful advice for his role in the play. Brianna, too, finds inspiration for her mural from an unlikely source.
