Despite feeling like an outcast, Emil is eager to make friends, and he quickly gets to work trying to impress Teddy and his friends with his wealth and status.

Throughout the episode, Emil becomes increasingly frustrated and disappointed with his inability to fit in with his new peers. He is unable to understand their humor and often misinterprets their social cues, causing him to feel even more isolated.
