Powers is a gripping television series that aired on PlayStation from 2015 to 2016. Based on a popular comic book series of the same name by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, the show is a thrilling combination of crime drama, superhero fiction, and supernatural fantasy.

At the heart of Powers is a unique premise: imagine a world where superpowers are real, but so are the consequences of wielding them. The series follows two detectives, Christian Walker (Sharlto Copley) and Deena Pilgrim (Susan Heyward), who work for the Powers Division of the LAPD, a specialized unit that investigates crimes involving people with extraordinary abilities.

Captain Cross (Adam Godley) is the enigmatic leader of the Powers Division, a man with a deep knowledge of both the law and the superhuman. He is a veteran of the division, having fought against powered beings for years before joining the police force.

Delia Alexander (Bianca Amato) is a scientist and expert in powers-related technology. As a consultant for the Powers Division, she helps to create specialized gear and weapons to aid the detectives in their investigations.

Wolfe (Eddie Izzard) is a notorious supervillain who was once captured and imprisoned by the Powers Division. However, he manages to escape and becomes a recurring thorn in the side of both the division and the city of Los Angeles.

Kutter (Justice Leak) is a young, ambitious detective who has recently joined the Powers Division. He is eager to prove himself and often clashes with his more experienced colleagues.

Krispin Stockley (Max Fowler) is a teenage boy who gains powers after taking a mysterious drug called Sway. He becomes a central figure in the series, caught between his desire to use his abilities for good and the dangerous underworld that is developing around powered individuals.

Eva Hamdam (Nicky Buggs) is a street-smart journalist who is investigating the Powers Division and becomes embroiled in its dangerous world.

Johnny Royalle (Noah Taylor) is a shadowy figure who has connections to both the Powers Division and the criminal underworld. He is highly skilled at manipulating others and often has hidden agendas.

Calista (Olesya Rulin) is a young woman who gains powers after being rescued by the Powers Division. She becomes a protege of both Walker and Pilgrim, but her allegiances are often unclear.

Throughout the series, Powers explores the complex relationships between powered individuals and regular humans, as well as the political and social implications of having superhuman abilities. The show is full of suspenseful action sequences, intriguing plot twists, and memorable characters, all set against the backdrop of a modern-day Los Angeles that is both familiar and fantastical.

Overall, Powers is a must-watch for fans of superhero fiction and crime drama alike. With its talented cast, compelling storylines, and stunning visuals, it is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats from beginning to end.

Powers is a series that ran for 2 seasons (20 episodes) between March 10, 2015 and on PlayStation
