Meanwhile, Ghost's business partner and childhood friend, Tommy, is struggling to deal with the guilt and shame of killing his past love interest, Holly. He seeks solace in his new relationship with Tasha, Ghost's estranged wife, but their connection is put to the test when Tasha suspects he may have had a hand in Holly's death.
On the political front, Ghost's campaign for lieutenant governor is in full swing, but his past as a drug kingpin threatens to derail his aspirations. His opponent, Councilman Tate, is determined to bring him down and stop him from becoming a powerful force in the city's government.
