As the second episode of the first season of Power Rangers Megaforce, "He Blasted Me With Science" takes place just after the team of teenagers with attitude has been given their new powers and tasked with defending the city against alien threats. In this episode, the Rangers find themselves facing a new villain named Metal Alice, who has the ability to control technology and turn ordinary machines into powerful weapons.
The episode opens with the Rangers in the midst of a training session, honing their new abilities and learning to work together as a team. They are soon interrupted, however, by the arrival of Metal Alice, who appears on a giant holographic screen and challenges them to a fight. The Rangers respond by morphing into their battle armor and heading out to face their new foe.
When the Rangers arrive on the scene, they find that Metal Alice has taken control of a number of machines and is using them to attack the city. The Rangers fight bravely, but they quickly realize that they are outmatched by Metal Alice's technological powers. Just when it seems all hope is lost, they are saved by the unexpected arrival of a new ally.
The new ally is a scientist named Emma Goodall, who has been researching the alien threat behind the scenes and has developed a new weapon that she believes can turn the tide of the battle. Despite some initial skepticism from the Rangers, who are wary of relying too heavily on technology, Emma convinces them to try out her invention.
Using Emma's device, the Rangers are able to turn Metal Alice's own attacks against her. They also discover that the device has other uses, such as restoring the machines that Metal Alice has taken control of back to their original state. With this new weapon in their arsenal, the Rangers are able to defeat Metal Alice and save the city from destruction.
Of course, the victory is short-lived. As the episode comes to a close, the Rangers realize that there are many more threats out there that they will have to face. This leads them to reflect on their responsibility as the protectors of the city and to vow to continue fighting for justice and peace. Ultimately, "He Blasted Me With Science" sets the stage for the rest of the series, establishing the Rangers as a powerful force for good in the face of overwhelming evil.
