In "Eddy and Telescope," the nineteenth episode of season 1 of Pororo the Little Penguin, viewers follow the adventures of Pororo and his playmates in the snowy village where they reside. This time, the spotlight shines on Eddy, the cleverest of the gang, who recently acquired a telescope.
As soon as Eddy shows the telescope to his friends, they can't wait to try it out, but it proves to be more difficult than it seems. Although the telescope looks basic, Eddy explains that it requires assembly and some level of expertise to operate. Pororo and his friends are far from giving up, though, and they urge Eddy to teach them how to use the telescope.
Eddy agrees to help them out but advises them to study astronomy first. The friends, who are not familiar with astronomy, set out to study the stars and planets. They quickly realize that learning about astronomy is not a walk in the park, but they are eager to master it.
While studying, Loopy discovers a constellation. She sees an appearance of Alto saxophone with stars, and she excitedly tells her friends. She explains that the stars are arranged in a pattern that depicts an Alto saxophone, and they should have a look through the telescope, hoping to see the real thing.
Although they spend considerable time gazing through the device, their efforts remain fruitless, and this is where Eddy decides to step in. He goes to work on the telescope and finally fixes the issue. Once it's done, his friends are eager to test it again, trying to locate Loopy's constellation.
By chance, Pororo spots a ball rolling down from the mountains, and he runs to catch it. Along the way, he accidentally trips on a rock and falls. His fall is, however, softened by a pile of snow, and he finds himself staring at what seems to be a shiny object.
Pororo is curious about the shiny object and decides to take his friends there to see it. After a short walk, they arrive at the spot. The object turns out to be a beautiful gemstone, and the friends marvel at its magnificence. They collect it and bring it back to their laboratory to study it.
Eddy is quick to identify the stone as a piece of Stellalite, a rare and precious gemstone that astronomers believe originates from stars. The friends are excited about this discovery and decide to name the stone Starlight. Eddy thinks that with the telescope fixed, they have the privilege to gaze deeper into space and perhaps unearth more valuable insights into the universe.
That evening, they couldn't wait to try out the telescope. They set it up in a clear space and take turns gazing at the stars. As they experiment, they discover a vast array of stars, planets, and other objects, but more importantly, they realized that the universe is beyond their imagination.
In the end, they learn that with the right tools and an inquisitive mind, the only limit is the sky. Eddy's telescope has turned out to be valuable in their exploration of the universe, and Pororo and his friends are eager to learn more. As the night ends, they look forward to more discoveries in their next stargazing adventure.
