Popeye Season 4 Episode 12 - Football Toucher Downer

In this episode of Popeye, the beloved spinach-eating sailor finds himself in the middle of a football frenzy. Popeye, Olive Oyl, Bluto, and Wimpy all get involved in a game of touch football, but things quickly get out of hand.

Olive is the captain of one team, with Bluto as her star player. Popeye and Wimpy team up on the opposing side. Despite Popeye's famous strength, Wimpy's tactics prove to be successful, and they score the first touchdown.

However, Bluto is determined to win at all costs and starts cheating. He pushes, shoves, and even tries to tackle Popeye before the ball is thrown. Olive is too infatuated with Bluto to notice his dirty play, and Wimpy is too focused on his game plan.

As the game progresses, it becomes clear that Bluto's team cannot win fairly. So, he devises a plan to steal the ball from Popeye and Olive's team during halftime. When the second half begins, Bluto's team seems to be making a comeback, and Olive's team begins to get worried.

Soon, Bluto's team is on the verge of winning, and Popeye decides that he's had enough of Bluto's cheating ways. In a valiant effort, he takes down Bluto and retrieves the ball. He then gives it to Olive, who scores the winning touchdown.

The episode ends with Olive finally realizing Bluto's true colors. In the upcoming episodes of Popeye, we see Popeye and Olive get closer and closer as they take on new adventures together.
