Ep 12. Gift For Gag

They go back to the store, only to find that it's closed, and the owner is nowhere to be found. Wimpy feels terrible about the situation and tells Popeye that he will do anything to make it right.

Popeye then comes up with a new plan to get his money back. He pretends to be a rich collector interested in buying the store and asks the owner to show him around. Once inside, Popeye and Wimpy search for evidence of the scam and finally find a clue – a receipt for the necklace. With this new information, they confront the owner, who confesses to his wrongdoing and gives them their money back.

Feeling relieved and proud of their detective work, Popeye and Wimpy head back to Gagsy's party. They hand over the perfect birthday gift – a cake – and Gagsy is thrilled. The episode ends with the three friends enjoying the cake and Wimpy thanking Popeye for all his help.
