Ep 3. L.P.G.

Police Rescue is a popular Australian television series that follows the daily lives of a police rescue squad. In season 1 episode 3, titled "L.P.G.", the rescue squad must face a unique and dangerous case involving a fuel tanker that has been rigged with explosives.

At the start of the episode, the team receives a call about a suspected hijacking of a fuel tanker carrying Liquid Petroleum Gas (L.P.G.). When the team arrives at the scene, they discover that the tanker has indeed been hijacked and that the hijacker has rigged it with explosives that could cause a catastrophic explosion.

As the team members work diligently to put together a plan to save the hijacker, tensions rise as they realize that time is running out and the risk of explosion is increasing. The situation becomes even more complicated when the hijacker informs them that the explosive device is connected to his heart rate, meaning that any sudden movements could trigger the bomb.

The team leads a complex rescue mission, utilizing their skills and expertise to work out a plan to free the trapped hijacker whilst ensuring that the tanker does not explode, causing injury to themselves and innocent bystanders. The mission challenges their communication skills, resourcefulness and creative problem-solving in determining how best to neutralize the bomb.

With one member of the team monitoring the hijacker's heart rate to ensure that the slightest of movement doesn't trigger the bomb, members of the rescue unit gradually break through the tanker's heavy shell to reach the hijacker.

Despite their bravery and expertise as rescue specialists, things don't go according to plan, and the team finds themselves in a race against time to save not just the hijacker but themselves too.

Police Rescue, Season 1 Episode 3 ("L.P.G."), is a high-stakes, thrilling episode that showcases the dedicated work of the rescue squad team.
